DAY 5

5th DAY THE CAMPIONSHIP
As you may deduce with the title the 5th day will be a little championship, where the robot will have to pass all the proves to be the winner or rich the highest number of points. Each prove done will give the team 15 points, there will be 5 proves and our robot only will be able to pass 2, so we do not expect too much of tomorrow championship.
But we will enjoy it, in the green city everything can happen!

DAY 4


4th DAY
Today we have spent all the morning redesigning our robot and rebuilding it, to make it able to pass some proves, but finally we have not done them so this has not been a so productive morning.
And to make the morning funnier we have made some races with other team´s robots. Our robot was quite slow so we have done some changes on it. We have made it shorter and we have put another engine to make it faster and we rich our goal we can say that is probably the fastest robot in this project, but it has a quite fragile structure so we can put the arm to pass some of the probes that we will have to pass tomorrow in the championship.

In the label named THE CAMOPINSHIP we explain how would be the day of tomorrow.

DAY 3

3rd day
Today we have divided our group in two. While one group was searching information about alternative energy such as Solar energy,Wind energy,Geothermal energy, Biofuel and Ethanol, Nuclear binding energy, and Hydrogen. The other group was building a part of a Lego Green City, is the game zone to play with our robbots MINDSTORM,our team was supouse to do a mill and  that was the result; I think that we have done it very well.







 That's the green city that we have build.
The last two hours of the morning we have done a new robot to complete some proves in the Green City, but it didn't work very well, so we expect to repair it at time to the competition.That's the robot that we have build.

DAY 2



2ND DAY:

As we expected this also has been a good day.

First of all we have had to record again all the proves that we pass yesterday cause we had some troubles with the mobile phone we recorded with.

Then we continued programmating the brick,that is the brain of the robot which has a little screen where  we can select some simple activities that the robot is able to do, using the sensors. We had to pass some proves using that tipe of programmation, and the proves cosisted in making the robot reproducing some warning sound when it detected movement, so we had to use the movement sensor which seem the head of the robot.

Before that, using the movement sensor, we made a table where is the per cent of failure of the robot messuring some distances, it is of 0,3dm more or less,  we had to made that prove with more than four objects.

By using the light sensor the robot messured the per cent of light of the darkest place of the lab, it was of a fourty porcent more or less.
As a more difficult prove we started to programmeted the robot by the computer. It is a little bit more complicated, but before passing the movement proves we already were good programmating the robot by this way.

The matematics proves were not as simple as the seemed, but we finally passed them all.

Then we made another table, but this was a time-table where we had to write down the time that the robot spent covering the same distance but with diferents per cents of power. Check the result.

Later we had to programme the robot to seem the undergraund of our city Bilbao, it was not so simple, but we did it. For this prove we used all the sensors of the lego robot. We built another arm for the robot and a pair of tank wheels, now it is awesome, the effort has had a nice result.

To end the morning we used the different touch sensors and we wrote down their differences.

We cannot wait for tomorrow.

DAY 1

1ST DAY

We have started a technological proyect in our school, that contists in building and programmating a lego robot, and we will have to pass some proves.

As a first prove to pass we had to do some activities releated to imagination, and before that we had created a name and a logo for our group. Finally we arrived to this awesome name: E.T. ALEMAPUHC, and we desined this logo.

















We dedicated the last two hour of the morning to bulit and prove our robot. First we built the lego structure for our robot, then we put the engines and try them, before that we started to inset the sensors to the stucture and to progamme the robot to do determinated actions using the sensors.

-The first sensor was the sound one, we programmeted the robot to change the movement when clap our hands. Quit simple, to se the result consult our video.

-Using the movement sensor the robot changed of movement when we pass the hand in front of the sensor. Check the video to see how it was.

-By the third sensor which was the light one, we had to pass two different proves. We had to programme the robot to change its movement when it detect the black or the white color. As result of the other prove the robot followed the light of the mobile torch. This two videos show the results of the proves.

-The last thing to do in this first awsome morning was to programme the robot to make it able to use the touch sensor, that was in the backside of the lego robot. If something touched the sensor when it was going back it changed the movement. Chek it.

To end the morning we put all the sensors in the robot for tomorrow.
